Multnomah Falls

Multnomah Falls ~ Nikon D700, ISO 200, f/7.1, 24mm, 9 exposure HDR

Between Portland, Oregon and the foothills of Mt. Hood where my brother’s wedding was taking place is the Columbia River Gorge.  The gorge is a canyon of the Columbia River which stretches for over 80 miles as the river winds through the Cascade Mountain Range forming the boundary between Washington and Oregon.

As I traveled on the Oregon side of the gorge in route to Hood River, I visited a number of waterfalls that can be found along the Historic Colombia River Highway.  Of all of the falls the Multnomah Falls probably being the most popular of all of them as it is the tallest falls in Oregon and one of the most scenic.
